The location is within central London some 2 miles west of Piccadilly Circus. The immediate vicinity is one of the more expensive areas of London to live and is a mix of residential properties and shopping high streets. Queens Gate itself is a residential road consisting of mainly large houses now converted into flats/apartments. Although a popular cut-through its not overly busy with traffic.
