Opened as a brand new hotel and build in December 2016.The Novotel London Canary Wharf is a modern hotel with 311 rooms and no less than 39 floors high. This is the tallest Novotel in the world at 127 meters (416 feet). One feature of the hotel is the rooftop terrace with full 360 degree panoramic views across London. Leisure facilities are extensive with a gym and swimming pool and value for money thanks to free WiFi throughout.
Standard bedroom facilities include free WiFi, minibar, safe, air–conditioning, 55 inch TV, desk, seating area, bedside control panel, telephone and ironing facilities.
The bathrooms comes with a bath/shower, hairdryer and free toiletries.
Executive Club Rooms: Great views from these rooms that occupy floors 30 to 32. These rooms come with a special package that includes a private concierge, additional amenities and 2 hours complimentary access to the rooftop terrace with drinks and snacks each day.

The Bokan37 restaurant: Air–conditioned, 37 refers to the floor the restaurant is located on.. Serves artisanal food and drink made using a mixture of local, ancient and adopted British ingredients. The menu is inspired by European cultural cuisines. There are panoramic views of London and the River Thames from this restaurant that occupies three of the top floors of the Novotel Canary Wharf along with the bar and terrace. Includes the main kitchen, bar and rooftop terrace.
Bokan38 Bar: Located on the 38th floor. Informal bar with a happy hour and musical entertainment. Also serves snacks.
Canary Coffee: This is the hotel cafe and is located on the street level and has an outdoor terrace seating area. Serves locally roasted artisan coffee, pastries and snacks.
The Novotel London Canary Wharf has a 24 hour front desk and has a web corner with Mac computers. A big feature is the gymnasium and indoor swimming pool.

History: 40 Marsh Wall was formerly the site of a 6 storey 1990s office block which was demolished to make way for the hotel. Designed by BUJ Architects and the project cost around 60 million pounds.
