Just behind the apartments is the River Thames. This is a good location for access to the City of London as the apartments basically sit on the south eastern edge of the Square Mile and 0.5 miles (0.8 km) from the centre around Bishopsgate and Moorgate. The Canary Wharf/Docklands area which is the second major financial and business district is just over 2 miles (3.2 km) to the east while the tourist areas in the heart of central London are 2 miles (3.2 km) to the west. Views from the apartments also take in The Shard (one of Europes tallest buildings) which is just on the south side of the River Thames. Cheval Three Quays sits between London Bridge and Tower Bridge making access to the south side of the Thames very easy to visit areas such as the South Bank. Minutes walking distance from both a tube station, Tower Hill (246 yards, 224 metres), and a mainline station, Fenchurch Street (0.24 miles, 0.4 km). If you are connecting to the Docklands Light Railway then Tower gateway Station is 404 yards (369 metres) away. Bus routes are plentiful in the local area and you are also well served by the River Thames River Bus/ferry service with stops all along the River at various piers. Tower Millennium Pier is less than 100 yards (91 metres) from Cheval Apartments.
Although this isn't quite in central London there is still so much to see and do.
