The Lalit Hotel London occupies a grade II listed building dating back to the 1800s and in past years was home to St. Olave's Grammar School. Originally designed by Edward Mountford.The hotel stays true to its heritage with many areas named after parts of the school, such as the Headmasters Room and the Teachers Room, both rooms are now bars.
Today The Lalit Hotel is a luxuriously grand boutique hotel serving Southwark and the City of London. The hotel captures the feel of Indian culture and old school British Victorian charm and character. All the bedrooms are furnished with bespoke Indian art.

Baluchi Restaurant: The area was once the St. Olave's Grammar Schools Assembly Hall. Features majestic blue crystal chandeliers. Serving Indian cuisine this is a fine dining restaurant located on the ground floor. A contemporary take Indian dishes. The menu takes inspiration from the major food regions of India to carefully craft elegant cuisine, made from the finest organic ingredients.
The Naanery: The lalits bakery. Classic recipes create variations on a perfect naan, which are paired with exquisite wines.
The Gallery: Tea Lounge on the mezzanine level. Traditional afternoon tea served with the option of a novel Indian Afternoon tea menu.
The Terrace: Outside terrace area with covered tables where you can select from both the Baluchi and Gallery menus.
Teachers Room: Contemporary Cocktails and Mocktails bar creates a classy setting, perfect for relaxed evening drinks and cocktails.
Headmasters Room: Champagne bar. A room of spectacular opulence and sophistication with wooden furnishings, the Headmasters Room embraces an intricate mother of pearl ceiling, offering cognacs and champagnes promising a fine evening.
