The hotel is actually within a cul-de-sac which is a no-through road so its much quieter than the busy surrounding major roads. The adjoining road is Brompton Road and here you will find some great shopping, bars and restaurants. There's a good mix of shops and stores but the accent is definitely on the higher end of the market and its on this road you will find stores such as Harrods and Harvey Nichols. There's also several fast food outlets and well known coffee shops so pretty much something for everyone. Beauchamp Place is a side turning with many small boutiques and restaurants. Just under half a mile to the north is Hyde Park which features a central lake and a gallery. The same distance to the south finds the Kings Road, Chelsea. Here you find a long high street with a reputation for trend setting fashion boutiques and some excellent wine bars for somewhere to drink in the evening. South Kensington is half a mile to the south west. The best of London's nightlife is centred around Piccadilly Circus and the west end and this are is 1.5 miles to the east. The Beauforts location makes for an excellent base from which to see the best of central London and its attractions in a relatively quiet side street close to transport links and amenities. An upmarket district.
