The Franklin hotel is made up from four red brick former Victorian Townhouses that were made into a single hotel in 1992. Understated entrance on this quiet road so make sure you look for the townhouse with the letter F on the front. Combining the warmth of a private home with the traditional service of a high end hotel. Reopened in August 2016 after a total renovation with the interiors the work of hotelier and designer Anouska Hempel (of Blakes Hotel fame). Design features include grey limestone and Carrara marble flooring as well as Italian velvets and silks. The black and white interiors create a dark and moody atmosphere with mirrors in abundance and can be described as sexy, stylish and intimate. The hotel is owned an Italian company and them modern Venetian influence is felt throughout. The leafy grounds of Edgerton Gardens compliments the striking interiors. Walls have grey stencils of the name "Joseph Herrmann 1907". He was a clergyman who had a secret relationship with Lord Egerton. The reception is a subtle round charcoal grey marble table, not your typical large cold reception desk.Facilities include a signature Italian restaurant, and Martini champagne and martini bar, as well as a Hamman, steam spa and high tech gym. Free WiFi throughout.

Superior Rooms: 18 to 24 sqm. Charming and sophisticated with rich Italian fabrics and views over Egerton Gardens or Knightsbridge. Most rooms have king size beds. All rooms feature a large flatscreen TV with Bluetooth connectivity, Jenson phones and Frette linen. Bathrooms with either separate walk in shower or bathtub/shower combo with top brand toiletries.
Deluxe Room: 25 sqm (269 sqft). Elegant rooms, amenities are as superior rooms but with more space.
Junior Suites: 27–35 sqm. All the amenities of the superior and deluxe rooms but with even more space.
All rooms feature air conditioning, bedside telephone, bathrobe and slippers, coffee/tea maker, desk, full size mirror, sound proofing, hairdryer, high speed internet access, music speaker system, large safe and mini bar.

Franklin Italian restaurant: From master chef and Michelin star winner Alfredo Russo. Alfredo brings his zestful, inquisitive approach to life with his cuisine. He takes the beautiful simplicity of Italian cooking styles and gives them a taste, texture and presentation all of his own. His signature is playful, elegant and sometimes outspoken dishes that surprise as well as satisfy. The accent is always on the freshest, finest ingredients and inventive, sometimes seemingly impossible, flavour combinations.
There is also a library room, tea lounge and private meeting room.
The Franklin Hotel features its own secluded English gardens which gives guest something of an oasis away from the bustling surrounding areas. Terrace with garden facing tables available in finer weather.
