Train
Stansted Airport Station is located just beneath the terminal building
where facilities are available for purchasing tickets. All services
cater for special needs although you are not able to travel with a
bicycle on the Stansted Express. Stansted Airport rail station is
staffed every day except Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Induction loops are
fitted.

NXEA Railway also run services through the airport
and they are also company responsible for managing the station .
They service London and also other UK connections. One route connects
out to Cambridge via Elsenham, Newport (Essex), Audley End, Great
Chesterford, Whittlesford and Shelford.

To Tottenham Hale and London Liverpool Street in East London.
Trains depart every 15 minutes.
Journey time 45 minutes.

Routes go out to Audley End, Cambridge, Ely, Peterborough, Leicester,
the Midlands and
Birmingham.
Connections at Peterborough allow for further journeys to Leeds, York,
Newcastle and Scotland.
Connections at Leicester allow for further journeys to Derby and
Sheffield.
Routes also to Scotland and North England
All trains are air conditioned and have special facilities for disabled
people and space for cycles which must be reserved in advance.
Journey times (approx): Cambridge 35 min; Leicester 2 hr 30 min; Birmingham 3
hr 25 min.
