Hotel in Detail:The Marriott Grosvenor Square is a striking red brick building which began life as a stately townhouse before its current status as a luxury hotel (since the mid 1980's) in a prime location combining the contemporary chic with a classic tradition. The hotel lobby features marble art deco.
The Marriott's bedrooms feature decor of dark wood furniture, light paintwork And plush soft furnishings In rich, warm colours and contemporary patterns. Amenities include marble en-suite bathrooms (with toiletries), high speed internet access, direct dial telephone with voice mail, mini-bar, cable 32'' flat screen TV with pay movies, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, coffee/tea service, Internet browser/Web TV, in-room safe, Air conditioning/climate control, Alarm clock, desk with chair.
There is a dedicated Club floor on the first floor with 45 bedrooms. These have four poster beds and a marble bathroom with raindance showerhead. Superior club rooms have a fireplace. The restaurant includes a rosewood bar with a tasting menu of 20 ever changing specialty dishes. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner.
Also onsite at the hotel is the "Maze Grill" (replaces the Cobalt restaurant and bar) which is a collaboration between Jason Atherton and Gordon Ramsay. Inspired by the classic New York grills.
