Soft chairs with cushions are provided for guests along with games and books. Music is always played in the lobby area and volume adjusts with the time of day.
MOXY Excel Bedrooms have a funky feel and are designed to make high functional use of the space and are well sound proofed. Sheets have a high–thread count and free toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner) are supplied. Hotel Vicinity:Nearest: DLR Station: Royal Albert 0.2 miles (0.3 km), Railway Station: Woolwich Dockyard 1.3 miles (2.1 km), Tube Station: North Greenwich 1.8 miles (2.8 km), Motorway: M11 Junction 4 6 miles (9.7 km). The MOXY London Excel is to the east of central London and sits by both the Excel Exhibition (10 minutes walk) centre and London City International Airport. You are also within 2 miles (3.2 km) of the Docklands/Canary Wharf area which is a growing business and residential district and easily accessed by road or Docklands Light railway. Convenient for the O2 Arena which is 1.7 miles (2.7 km) away but beware that this is just on the south side of the River Thames while the hotel is on the north side. You can actually walk this route using the cable Car link which runs from the north west edge of the Excel to Greenwich Peninsula. However its easily access via local transport links, north road and train and is just 10–15 minutes using the DLR. The Moxy London Excel sits opposite the London Regatta Centre which hosts rowing and dragon boat racing. The City of London (Square Mile) is 5.6 miles (9.0 km) to the west while the heart of central London and the West End is 7.5 miles (12.1 km) to the west. Other places worth a visit locally include Thames Barrier Visitors Centre 0.9 miles (1.4 km), The Crystal (sustainability exhibition) 1 mile (1.6 km), East ham Nature Reserve 1.2 miles (1.9 km) (3.2 km) and Gallions Reach Shopping Mall 1.4 miles (2.3 km).
