Hotel Location:
Although no longer the terminus of the Eurostar service Waterloo is still one of the UK's premier mainline railway stations with links to all parts of the country as well as connecting with the London underground tube network. The Premier Inn Waterloo sits on the north west side of the station with the entrance just a 2 minute walk . Just on the southern side of the River Thames one major advantage to this location is that all London's bridges are within quick access by road making all parts of the capital easily accessible. Waterloo Bridge gets you into the west end while Southwark bridge gets you into the City of London (business sector). This makes the Premier Inn Waterloo an excellent choice for a budget option in central London because transport links are excellent whether by road or tube. Of course south London has plenty to offer itself. The hotel sits opposite the South Bank (5 minutes' walk) which is home to the London Eye (an absolute must visit), National Theatre, Royal Festival Hall, Hayward Gallery and the London Aquarium. You are also just 1/4 of a mile from one of London's most iconic theatres, The Old Vic. Just on the other side of the Thames and visible from the south side is Cleopatra's needle, a statue dating back to 1819. To all intents and purposes you can consider this part of south London as central London as it's so close and so accessible to the actual central areas (15 minutes walking to Trafalgar Square) around the west end W1 postcode. The hotels full title is Premier Inn Waterloo (Westminster Bridge) might be slightly misleading as its actually between both Westminster Bridge and Waterloo bridge. Westminster Bridge leads directly to the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben clock tower and the House of Lords as well as Westminster Abbey.Hotel Vicinity:
