The Travelodge London Waterloo opened on the 1st July 2010.Bedrooms come with a wall mounted lat screen television, central heating, fan, wireless internet access (charges) and tea/coffee facilities. Hairdryer and ironing board/iron available on request. Rooms en-suite with towels provided.
This Travelodge features an onsite Bar Café which serves breakfast, dinner, and drinks from the fully licensed bar along with vending machines. Breakfast is an all you can eat buffet which a large selection of items such as a cooked breakfast, with sausages, scrambled eggs, fresh tomato, bacon and baked beans; as well as croissants, muffins, toast, Kellogg's cereal, Granola, fruit and yoghurt. Hot drinks and fruit juices. In the evening choose from dishes such as burgers, pizza, fish and salad.
The bar is air-conditioned and serves a full range of drinks such as wines, quality lagers, beers, soft drinks and spirits.
There is a night porter.
There are no luggage storage facilities due to security reasons. Smoking is not permitted throughout the hotel.
Please note: Dinner will not be available on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day at this hotel.

The 3 tube stations and 2 railway stations in a half mile radius (0.8 km) of the hotel means transport links are excellent.The Travelodge Waterloo is on the south side of the River Thames. This means you need to cross via one of the bridges to reach the main tourist areas around the West End and W1 postcode. You can actually walk to the West End in around 35 minutes via any of the appropriate bridges. The Westminster Bridge, Waterloo Bridge and Blackfriars Bridges are all within half a mile. Even closer is the major railway terminus of Waterloo Station at 1/3rd of a mile where a tube into the City of London can take just 5 minutes. There is a lot to see and do within the surrounding area with plenty of bars and restaurants including a fish and chip shop opposite the Travelodge. The Imperial War Museum is just 1/4 of a mile to the south west of the Travelodge Waterloo while the South Bank is just 0.5 miles to the north. Along the South Bank which runs alongside the river Thames are places such as the Royal festival Hall, Hayward Gallery and the National Gallery. This is where you will also find 2 of the capitals top attractions, the London Aquarium and the London Eye which can be walked in around 10 minutes. Other notable places of interest close by include the Tate Modern (0.5 miles), Lambeth Palace (0.6 miles) and Shakespeare's Globe (0.7 miles).
