The Premier Inn Blackfriars (Fleet Street) was first opened in August 2012 and was part of the wave of hotels Premier Inn have been opening up and down the UK. This was a completely new build and a purpose built hotel.In line with the traditional bedroom style from this chain the bedrooms all feature violet shades with a contemporary feel. Each guest room has its own bathroom and is air–conditioned. Bedrooms come with a flat–screen television, heating and hairdryer. Floors have a carpet covering.

There are 22 theatres within a mile of the hotel and many more only slightly further away. Bars, clubs, restaurants and shops are simply too numerous to count and name. Only 300 yards from Blackfriars bridge giving easy access to the south side of the River Thames and the beginning of the south bank complex which houses attractions such as the National Theatre and the London Eye. 6 stations within half a mile, the closest being Blackfriars (2 minutes walk) on the Circle and District line and just 200 yards from the hotel. 0.3 miles from the major attraction of St Pauls Cathedral. Dorset Rise (the road the Premier Inn Blackfriars sits on) is actually a relatively quiet side street giving something of a calm feel to the very busy area that surrounds it. Another plus is being so close to the River Thames means you have easy access to the frequent river bus services that stop at The Riverwalk Pier and Blackfriars Pier.
