Hotel in Detail:The Sea Containers Hotel London is with the landmark building, Sea Containers House. Part offices and part hotel the Sea Containers building is a prominent landmark on the South Bank. Brings a boutique feel along with a style and sophistication you would expect from a 5 star hotel with its own vibe. Eat and drink:
Sea Containers Restaurant: Follows the hotels nautical theme and mixes the best of both English and American dishes on its seasonal locally sourced menu. The restaurants style is refined, casual and youthful and features an open plan kitchen.
Open: 06.30 till 11.00 (weekends 07.30 till 11.30), noon till midnight.
Lyaness: Located on the ground floor of the hotel. Lyaness uses the teams unique ability to hunt out weird and wonderful flavours and make them interesting and accessible. Team Lyan has always had a curiosity to find new ingredients, and an ability to make these unusual, alien and outright weird forms more delicious. In an embrace of the alternative, these key ingredients are at the heart of Lyaness. Some we have worked on with like-minded people within and out with the booze world and others are the result of the research, exploration and experimentation of the team. So our menu is sectioned around ingredients instead of cocktails; it might seem a little odd, but the Lyaness team can connect you to your ideal drink.
Reimagining the iconic space overlooking the Thames within Sea Containers house the hotel has created a cocktail bar that goes beyond the simple focus of what is in your glass. Comfortable and fun, with different spaces that can accommodate private settings through to bigger social occasions. Featuring a signature electric blue, as well as the original green marble bar, the space is suitable from early where we also serve our cocktail-based Fancy Tea, through to late night.
12th Knot: Rooftop bar and lounge overlooking the River Thames. Stylish seating, cocktails celebrating seasonal ingredients, DJs and live music all set against an unrivalled backdrop of the River Thames and London. A true reflection of South Banks vibrant energy, expect bright, striking décor and an open-plan layout which puts the panoramic views centre stage. So whether you are curled up on a window seat, relaxing on the balcony, mingling at the bar or on the dance floor, Londons breath-taking skyline is the main attraction.
Onsite is the agua Bathhouse and Spa. Carrying on the hotels nautical tradition the spa features curving walls and luminous corridors to give a feel of underwater tranquillity. There are six treatment suites, Spa and Glamour Lounges and unique steam baths.
Next to the spa is a state–of–the–art gymnasium with a wide range of equipment including cardiovascular machines 15 inch touch screens, integrated iPod connectivity, and a video and USB charging station.
