The Staybridge Suites Vauxhall opened as a brand new build hotel in January 2015. The hotel benefits from a location in a quiet and leafy side street in Vauxhall called Vauxhall Walk. The hotel has a bright and contemporary style and promises guests accommodation where you live rather than stay (despite the brands name). Became the first hotel in London to have its own hotel dog whose job it is to welcome guests. The hotel became home to Waggers, a Labrador/Poodle cross (Labradoodle), in March 2015.Bridging the gap between hotel and apartments all the studios and suites come with a fully equipped kitchen. This includes a toaster, microwave, kettle, refrigerator, dishwasher, pots and pans and other utensils. Additionally you will find workspace, phone with voicemail, work desk with lamp, free wireless internet, stereo, flat screen TV, in room movies and premium cable. The bathrooms come with either a shower or bath.
Maid service each day (light). Full maid service once a week. Maid service is by request only on weekends.
A daily breakfast (included in room rate) is served each morning in the Hub Kitchen. Every week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday the hotel holds what it calls a “managers social evening” between 19.00 and 20.00. On these evenings wine, beer, soft drinks and snacks are served free of charge.
The lounge area of the hotel features a real fireplace for a homely feel. Tea and coffee is available throughout the day and there is also a television in this area.
'Body Shop' is the gymnasium open to guests 24 hours. The equipment includes treadmills, cross trainers, bikes and rowing machines.
