The Holiday Inn Express London City was one of the first mainstream budget hotels to serve the City of London when it opened in 1998. Minutes from Old Street tube station and close to a good range of amenities as well nightclubs, restaurants and bars. Opened November 1998. Was the largest Holiday Inn Express Hotel in Europe till 2011 (when the Holiday Inn Express Heathrow Terminal 5 took that honour)..
Bedroom amenities include air-conditioning, interactive flat screen TV and in-room movie system, tea and coffee making facilities, wireless high speed internet access, work desk with lamp, direct dial telephone with voicemail, double glazing, hairdryer and satellite TV with pay movies and video review/checkout. The bathrooms in each guest room have a black and white theme and come with a power shower and supplied toiletries.
A daily maid service is provided. 6 rooms are adapted for accessibility.
