The hotels restaurant is called the Thyme Restaurant, and is the same name used in all the modern Premier Inn's for its combined restaurant and bar. Serving breakfast, dinner and snacks and offering a choice for breakfast from continental, English or a grab-and-go breakfast.

Not an obvious location for a pure tourist stay but well suited for being conveniently close to the City of London (Square Mile) with transport links that will get you into central London within 20 minutes. There are plenty of amenities in the local area especially along Old Street and there are actually several popular nightclubs nearby. The well known Angel Islington is less than a mile to the north west and has a very busy High Street with a good range of shops and bars and a popular market on Chapel Street. The area just to the east of the Premier Inn is called Hoxton. Another big plus for this location is that you are within half a mile of the major arts venue, the Barbican centre, which can be walked in 10 minutes. Within a two minute walk of Old Street tube station on the Northern line. Worth a visit is Brick Lane, with its ethnic fashion outlets and restaurants and also under a mile away tot he south by Whitechapel. Spitalfields Meat Market is a 15 minute walk away. Many guests will choose the hotel thanks to its location opposite Moorefield's Eye Hospital, one of the premier eye hospitals in the UK.
