Opened in May 2017 The Curtain Hotel was the brainchild of New York hotelier Michael Achenbaum. A luxury five star hotel in the midst of trendy Shoreditch, not just a hotel but complete with a restaurant, live music venue, members club, rooftop pool and lounge, 24–hour gym, treatment rooms and its own cinema. You even pay nothing for the WiFi, its free and available throughout. This is a fresh new take on the luxury hotel market and can be described as upscale quirky chic.The Curtain Hotel describes the rooms and suites as warehouse living with impeccable style. Features include exposed brickwork, hardwood floors and iconic photos. The rooms all have extra with large windows.
All the bedrooms come with air conditioning, seating area, minibar, safety deposit box, ironing facilities, sofa, soundproofing, hardwood/parquet floors, wardrobe/closet, telephone, radio, flat–screen TV, tea/coffee maker, minibar with handpicked selections, electric kettle, high end Bluetooth speakers, wake–up service and alarm clock.
Bathrooms are finished in marble and have a Rain and Steam shower (some have a bath), hairdryer, bathrobe, slippers and free toiletries.

Tienda Roosteria: Specialises in tacos, margarita slushies topped with edible glitter and tequilas. Laid back ambience furnished with tartan armchairs and eclectic works of art. Set on the ground floor of The Curtain, Tienda is all about the walk–in; from lunchtime tacos, to after–work beers, late night cocktails and beyond. Old school R&B and Hip Hop keep it lively seven nights a week. Daily changing Tienda Lunch Box can be eaten indoors or out.

Lido: This is the rooftop all day and all year round brasserie with a Moroccan–inspired pool. Suitable for all climates thanks to its retractable glass roof and walls. Serves up fresh, seasonal fare with amazing sky views. Open to hotel guests and Curtain members only.

THE SPA: Located underground and the place for a massage from professional masseurs (anything from sports to hot–stone) or a manicure from the Imarni Nails. Men's Society are also on–hand to offer the anything from a haircut and a wet–shave, to a facial.
