London City Airport is situated close to the A406 north circular road London orbital dual carriageway and to the East of London, actually being in the east of the city, which is the business and financial centre. It's great for getting to anywhere in the east of London, Docklands, Canary wharf, Kent and the east coast, or indeed into central London itself.

Getting there:
Nearest station to the Airport is the Docklands Light Railway station of the same name, London City Airport DLR.
The airport is served by the following bus routes: 69, 473, 474
There is a shuttle bus service to and from the airport and Liverpool Street Station.

*In September 2007 a shuttle service between the airport and local hotels began. The service is operated by Snowdrop Travel and  bus number A61 runs weekdays 06:00 till 22:00, Saturday 06.00 till 13.00, Sunday 12.00 (noon) till 22.00. The cost is between £1-£3 and hotels on this route are marked with a * below.
