Introduction: The Holiday Inn Express Newbury Park was purpose built in 2007. Convenient location right by the A12 Eastern Avenue. This is a dual carriageway which runs from the edge of the City of London to the M25 on the far East side of London. Close to two motorways in the M11 and M25. Using the M25 you get to the far sides of London such as the south and west without having to go through central London. The nearby tube station gives access to central London within around 35 minutes typical underground journey. Major shopping can be found just over 2 miles away in Romford where the central shopping area includes the Liberty Shopping Centre among a large number of other shops and amenities. Although this location is now firmly within the greater London border this wasn't always the case, until 1965 it was actually part of Essex county. Its also within the Borough of Redbridge. A suburban type town some 10 miles from the heart of London.
