Located on the Western fringes of Central London is the One Thirty Queensgate Apartments
in a stylish 1850's Victorian building. Once the houses along
this road mostly housed well to-do Victorian residents but they are now mostly
converted in to hotels and flats. The apartments are close to the junction
with the Cromwell Road (A4) which is the main road into and out
of London giving direct road access to Heathrow Airport. This
location is close
to a host of shopping, bars and cafes as well as the best known
of the tourist attractions
of central London. Nearest main shopping can be found to the
South at South
Kensington, to the North East at Knightsbridge and also Kensington High Street
to the North West. The
hotel is just
a short stroll from
Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens (0.5 miles)
which is directly opposite the Northern end of Queens Gate. Nearby local
attractions include the Museums of
Natural History (0.1 miles),
Science (0.2 miles), and the
V&A (0.3 miles)
(all on the Cromwell Road), The Royal Albert Hall which is a
major entertainment venue (0.5 miles),
Albert memorial (0.5 miles) and
Kensington Palace (0.7 miles)

Apartments:
The apartments are all non-standard in that they all have
different sizes and layouts. Room configurations available are studios, one bed,
two bed, two bed larger, three bed and penthouse suites. Rooms are modern but
have a traditional look/style. Inside you'll find a self contained kitchen with
appliances, starter tea and coffee supplies, Central Heating (controlled by
guest), double glazed windows, iron and ironing board, cable Television, direct
dial phone, hairdryer, safe and a fan hung from the ceiling. Bathrooms bathrooms
have toiletries along with a bath, bidet and shower. The Kitchens have utilities
such as an oven (conventional and microwave), grill, toaster, kettle along with
eating utensils (cutlery, plates).
A few apartments come with a balcony and/or courtyard but are limited and
subject to availability. The larger apartments (2/3 beds and penthouse) have a
music system. Penthouses offer air-conditioning. A maid service is run six days
a week.
The hotel has a 24 Hour Reception/Porterage.
Other hotel services include Fax, photocopy, messages, received
email, concierge and dry cleaning and laundry pickup. A useful service the hotel
offers is if you contact them directly 48 hours in advance they will have a
breakfast pack ready for your arrival.
