In March 2014 The Kensington London Hotel was able to boast to housing the largest townhouse suite available in London. In January 2014 the hotel opened Londons largest hotel suite measuring 180sq m (1,920sq ft) as part of a £450,000 pound expansion. The suite was designed by Denis Looby of Sheehan and Barry Architects. Consisting of three interconnecting suites each bedroom having its own en-suite bathroom.
Complete refurbishment 2008/09 at a cost of £20 million pounds. Among the changes were a re-levelling of the floors so that tall windows became floor level.
