First opened in May 2014 the Premier Inn London Hackney is a new generation Premier Inn. With its modern design and feel the hotel has all the best Premier Inn features such as self check–in lobby and comfortable Hypnos beds. You also get complimentary wireless internet access not just in the public areas but in all bedrooms too. The brand is well known for providing fantastic value throughout its portfolio of well located hotels.Bedrooms all come with a 40 inch flat screen television, tea and coffee facilities, king size Hypnos bed, air–conditioning and heating. All guest rooms have a private bathroom that comes with a hairdryer and a shower with extra large head.
The Thyme restaurant serves a mix of traditional and contemporary dishes. Breakfast is a range of hot and cold options, including bacon, sausages, eggs and hash browns. The menu also includes croissants, fresh fruit, cereals and yoghurts, fruit juice, tea and coffee.

The site for the hotel was originally given permission to build a 6 floor luxury hotel but this was changed to allow for the budget oriented Premier Inn to be built.

A mix of residential and light industrial and it certainly has all the facilities and amenities you would need for a stay in the area. In recent years there has been a number of trendy clubs appear giving the area a lift. It is not a tourist destination but still is close enough to central London to make commuting into the more touristy areas very doable. If you use Highbury and Islington Station rather than the closer Dalston Junction overground station you can be in the most central areas within 30 minutes (with a line change en–route). You also have the option local buses that go directly into the west end (the number 98 bus goes all the way to Victoria) but can take up to an hour. In the other direction the 277 will get you to Canary Wharf (Docklands), the second business dirtreict for the capital. The area is actually less than 2 miles from the City of London (square mile), the main business and financial district. Other places of note close–by would include the Olympic Stadium at 2.5 miles and the international rail terminal at Stratford is just 3 miles to the south east. The Premier Inn hackney is actually opposite the Dalston and Kingsland London Overground station which can get you to Whitechapel in under 10 minutes. The hotel is just 160 yards from the A10 dual carriageway main road. This will get you to Shoreditch within 5 minutes or directly right out to Cambridge and the M11 motorway to the north. Among the local places of interest is the Hackney Empire 0.8 miles, a popular venue for arts and events of all types for over 100 years. Broadway Market is also 0.8 miles away just south of London Fields. Geffrye Museum 1 miles from the Premier Inn Hackney shows the changing style of the English domestic interior in a series of period rooms from 1600 to the present day.
