Introduction: The Grange St Pauls is
located on the small side street of Godliman Street between Queen Victoria
Street and Cannon Street in the City of London. This is London main
financial district known as the Square mile. While the City of London does
have plenty of facilities including bars and restaurants it becomes pretty
quiet on weekends with many places remaining shut as the main work force
head out of London for the weekend. The main tourist areas are just over a
mile to the west. However there are many major attractions that are within
or close to this part of London. As the Grange hotels name suggests,
St
Pauls Cathedral is just 150 yards from here, built by Sir Christopher
Wren in the 1700's and one of London's must see places of interest. Its a
similar distance to the Millennium Bridge which allows pedestrians to walk
across the River Thames to the south side of the river. Just over the bridge
you will find
Shakespeare's Globe, a replica of the original theatre that stood there
in the 160o's. There are 6 tube stations within half a mile along with major
bus routes.
Other local places of interest include the Tate Modern (0.3 miles), Museum
of London (0.4 miles), Vinopolis City Of Wine (0.4 miles), South Bank (0.4
miles), Golden Hinde replica (0.5 miles) and Clink Prison Museum (0.5
miles).
Hotel
New build hotel opened June 2009. The Grange St Pauls if a mix of the
sophisticated and the contemporary featuring an 80 foot high central Atrium.

The central Atrium area (80 feet high) is where the restaurants and bars are located.
The 'Globe' and 'Novello' restaurants serve light meals.
Novello Restaurant: Light and airy gallery overlooking the lift lobby
and reception. A full range of meals is served including a variety of table
d’hôte and a La Carte menu options.

18.30 till 22.00.
Globe Restaurant: Private dining space located on the first floor.
Good choice for formal lunches and dinners. Serves a European menu with
healthy continental options including lobster, salads and pasta, together
with a selection of desserts and an extensive list of new and old-world
wines.

Benihana Restaurant: Part of a well known chain of speciality restaurants
where chefs preparedand cook entrees at a table called a "Hibachi Grill".
Benihana was awarded best family restaurant award by Timeout magazine. Dishes
are of eastern influence.

Temple Bar: Located by the Health and Fitness Club. Serves light
meals and snacks along with a choice of drinks and a choice selection
of black, green and herbal infusions from the 'Time 4 Tea' menu.
Opening: 08.00 till 23.00
Sky Bar: Located on the penthouse level. Featuring a sleek and stylish
all-glass interior in a self-contained bar with lounge-style seating.
Adjoining rooftop terrace and garden offering stunning views onto St. Pauls
Cathedral. A full range of wines, whiskies and spirits is available,
together with Champagne and an exclusive selection of cocktails. The Sky Bar
can also be hired for private functions and is open daily.

Silks Bar: Sumptuous decor and serves cocktails. Open to guests and
the general public. A decadent lounge bar featuring ambient lighting and
crushed velvet seating. Serves the finest Champagne and exclusive in-house
cocktails. A wide selection of light bites and snacks are also available.

QuarterJacks: Located in the hotel Atrium. An inviting bar and
meeting space serving a comprehensive range of food and drinks. Serves the
Grange St Pauls 'Time 4 Tea menu'. Forked buffet selections are also
available.

'Club Ten' is the hotels nightclub.
The first floor is home to the Grange St Pauls business centre.
There are 14 function rooms spread over 2 floors able to handle up to 2000
delegates.
