| Description:
Situated on the South side of the River Thames is the Mercure
London City Bankside Hotel. Very close to the city of London
which is easily accessed by Blackfriars or London Bridge. Within
walking distance of the Bankside/South Bank complex which
includes attractions such as the Tate Modern, Globe Theatre,
Royal National Theatre and the Royal Festival Hall. Other nearby
attractions include the London Dungeon, Southwark Cathedral, St
Paul's cathedral, Monument, HMS Belfast and the London Eye
(Millennium Wheel). Access into the heart of London and the
vibrant nightlife and Theatreland is a few minutes by taxi over
Waterloo Bridge. Built in 1999 this is a contemporary hotel with 24 hours room service and front desk. The medium sized bedrooms are decorated in contemporary style with neutral colour schemes. Onsite is the Loft Bar and Restaurant. The Bar is open 11.00 am till 11 pm while the restaurant serving international cuisine is open 6.30 am till 10.30 pm. The Restaurant has a Light and airy atmosphere with a mezzanine floor while the bar has a relaxed, intimate atmosphere and offers an excellent range of wines, beers, snacks throughout the day. There are 6 meeting rooms with the largest having a capacity for up to 60. The hotel also features its own onsite fitness room. |
