| Description: The
Kingston Lodge Hotel is situated in South London between two of London's largest
parks, Richmond Park and Wimbledon Common. Richmond Park is 2,500 acres in size
and famous for its herd of red and fallow deer and is a great place for a
relaxing walk. In-fact just over the nearby
Kingston Bridge are two more parks at Bushy Park and Hampton Court Park.
Convenient for Wimbledon Tennis and the All England Tennis club which is just
under 3 miles away. The hotel is actually next to Coombe Wood Golf Course. Other
nearby attractions include Hampton Court Palace (3 miles), Hogarths House (4.8
miles) and Chessington World of Adventures (5 miles). Access to North and
central London is very easy via any of the surrounding bridges and nearby A3
dual carriageway. Some bedroom have their own balcony with views over the landscaped courtyard garden. Amenities include en-suite, satellite TV, radio, telephone, hospitality tray, hairdryer and iron. Superior rooms also have CD player and complimentary mineral water. The hotel offers room servce. Onsite is the conservatory style Atrium Brasserie, bright and airy, which opens for dinner serving a good selection dishes and fine wines. Monday to Saturday from 7.00pm to 10.00pm and Sunday 7.00pm to 22.15pm. It is closed for lunchtime Monday to Saturday, however a Sunday lunch is served 12.30pm to 14.30pm. In the summer and weather permitting meals are served in the garden. The hotel has a lounge bar which also serves light snacks with a varied menu served throughout the day. The hotel garden features a contemporary style fountain. The Lodge offers two rooms for conferences and meetings with a capacity for up to 60 guests. On the ground floor is the Hampton Room, the larger of the two rooms, which opens out onto the courtyard garden and has its own bar. The Richmond Room can host 10 guests and features a Boardroom table. The room is fully air-conditioned, with natural light and includes its own 42cm plasma screen. The front reception is open 24 hours and has a safe for guest use. |
