Introduction:
Situated on the north side of King Street, in Hammersmith West
London, is the Holiday Inn Express Hammersmith. The hotel is constructed on a site that was originally
home to Fullers Brewery and the design of the building has
incorporated retaining the original distinctive facade of the
Fullers Building. This location is on the very edge of central
London some 4.4 miles from the centre. Hammersmith is a very busy and bustling
area and King Street is one of the main shopping areas with a large range of
shops, restaurants and bars. The road runs parallel with the A4 dual carriageway
which is the main route into and out of West London. Its also gives direct
access to Heathrow airport, the M4 and M25 motorways. A clear run to the airport
can take just 20 minutes from here. While the area may not be noted for tourist
attractions it does have two very popular amenities. The Hammersmith Apollo
theatre venue for concerts and the Hammersmith Palais on Shepherds Bush Road
which is a thriving nightclub. Perhaps the most notable landmark is the
Hammersmith London Ark, an imaginatively shaped office block that
dominates the view around the flyover by the gyratory system. Transport
links are good for all forms of transport, buses, taxis and train. Local
attractions include Hogarths house (1 mile), Leighton house museum (1.2 miles),
