Introduction: The Flemings Mayfair Hotel London is situated in Mayfair just off from Piccadilly where this Georgian building has been located since 1730. Half Moon Street is a side turning with less traffic flowing through it than the surrounding roads although it is used a cut through from Piccadilly to Mayfair. A short walk away are Green Park (0.2 miles) which forms part of the grounds of Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park. This is a central location close to the very heart of the tourist areas and gives easy access to all of London's attractions. Mayfair itself is an ultra expensive district notable for its high density of 5 star hotels. Also within the area is Bond Street (0.25 miles) where you will find high quality fashion and jewellery shops along with Saville Row, famed for it designer suits. Nearby are the well known shopping areas of Regent Street (0.4 miles), Oxford Street (0.5 miles) and Knightsbridge (0.7 miles). Local places of interest include the Michael Faraday Museum (0.24 miles), Royal Academy of Arts (0.3 miles), Apsley House (known as number one London) (0.35 miles), St James's Palace(0.37 miles), Wellington Arch (on Hyde Park Corner) (0.37 miles) and Buckingham Palace (0.39 miles).

Hotel:
The Flemings Hotel, Mayfair first opened in 1851 and is constructed from 6 Georgian townhouses. Combining original features with modern luxury and an intimate feel. The first thing you will notice is the Lobby's marble floor giving the hotel a slightly European feel along with some novel flower arrangements.
All the guest rooms have en-suite power shower and bathroom where gleaming Italian ceramic wall tiles offset the Carrara marble surfaces to stunning effect and complimentary toiletries are supplied. Decor differs by floor, from the chocolate and vanilla in ground floor rooms (some with wooden floors), to the amethyst (purple) of the upper floors rooms and the powder blue, cream with white of the fourth floor (these rooms also have light wood furnishings and duvets).
Other in-room facilities include bathrobes, newspapers, minibar, cable TV (flat screen with internet browser) with pay movies, desk, safes, WiFi internet access, Alarm Clock Radio, tea/coffee facilities, Desk, Direct Dial Telephone with vociemail, safe, Hair Dryer, trouser press, and air conditioning. Beds have a plumped duvet. Iron/Ironing Board can be requested as can CD's and DVD's.
Room service is provided 24 hours. There is an evening turndown service.

The hotel also has ten individually laid out and furnished apartments and with each one having its own entrance. Configurations range from one bedroom to three bedrooms and a penthouse suite. On arrival the guest relations manager will personally accompany you to your apartment. The apartments have the same facilities as the hotel rooms along with kitchen facilities ( Fridge/Freezer, Oven, Microwave, Dishwasher, utensils), Washing Machine and Dryer. You can also make use of the small mobile business centre (on request and chargeable). Twice daily maid service.

Dining:
The Grill: Provides glamorous and opulent surroundings with a menu created by Chef Simon Henbery. Serves modern elegant European grill food with robust big colourful flavours, the best seasonal ingredients, and served with unexpected twist. Dishes include Veal Chops, Chateaubriand and grilled Lemon Sole, seasonal specials, classic puddings.
Open: 07.00 till 10.00 (Sunday 08.00 till 11.00), noon till 14.00 (closed Saturday), 17.30 till 22.00.
Cocktail & Tea Rooms: Sumptuously decadent Flemings Cocktail & Tea Rooms are available for morning coffee, afternoon tea, pre dinner cocktails with canapé and the place to enjoy hotel mixed Martinis. Air conditioned and decorated in cobalt blue with plumped cushions, Murano glass chandeliers and the Flemings own unique Couture Cocktail Collection.

The Front Room: Exclusive to the Hotel are the hand crafted and freshly baked Cupcakes and layer cakes along with exquisite teas. Served from glass stands filled with mini jewels and Champagne.

Gluten free and vegetarian afternoon teas can be arranged if requested in advance.
Private Dining is available in the Grill and the Boardroom.
