Radisson Edwardian Hampshire Hotel

Introduction: Slap bang in the heart of tourist London and its West End, as central as you can can get, is the luxurious Radisson Hampshire Hotel. On the south side of Leicester Square, an area bustling with people all day long, London's nightlife starts here. One of the squares features are the four major state-of-the-art cinemas which are normally used for London film premieres. The largest of these is the Odeon Leicester Square which can seat over 1700 visitors. The square also has a host of bars, restaurants and clubs. Covent Garden is home to many of the country's best buskers (street entertainers) as well as being home to two popular markets and a lively nightlife centred on its trendy bars. Other local attractions are numerous but some of the closest include Soho (0.3 miles), London Transport Museum (0.4 miles), Theatre Museum (0.4 miles), Cleopatra's needle (0.4 miles), 10 Downing Street (0.5 miles) and St James's Palace (0.5 miles).

Hotel:
The Radisson Hampshire conjures an up an image of traditional English elegance with an under spoken character and sports an Edwardian facade. However it blends this with up to the minute modern facilities to ensure your stay is happy one. As you enter the hotel lobby you are greeted by the hotels doorman. Most areas of the hotel are softly lit and furnished with works of art.
Maintaining the hotel English country house style are the hotel bedrooms. The decor includes details such as fin-de-siecle prints along with works of art while furnishings feature traditional mahogany. Faux silk adorns the walls while the cushions are hand embroidered. The hotel is proud to display the Sargent paintings by Oliver Richardson.
All rooms have a separate bathroom finished in Sicilian marble with heated towel rails and luxury toiletries. Bedroom amenities include free WIFI internet access, minibar, safe, tea/coffee maker, iron, direct dial telephone with dual lines and personal telephone number and voicemail, trousers press, sound proofing, air-conditioning, Cable TV, desk, modem connection, hairdryer and valet service.
Deluxe rooms offer a larger environment than standard rooms with a daily turndown service, stall shower, bathrobes and slippers.
For even more luxury consider a suite. Each suite is individually decorated and enjoy great views over the capital and are furnished with designer furniture and fabrics. Hampshire bar and restaurant: Cool and casual. A la Carte. Serves contemporary English and Mediterranean influenced cuisine. The style of the restaurant is contemporary dominated by the rich mahogany panelling. Seating features Morosso high-backed chairs. Onsite is the restaurants own bakery.

Hampshire Bar: Intimate in style and features candlelight and serves light snacks along with the drinks.
In the summer months and weather permitting the hotels outdoor terrace is opened up as a Continental-style Café.

The hotel has 5 meeting/conference rooms that can handle anything from two to seven hundred guests.
Express check-in and check-out is available as an option on request. As you would expect at a five star hotel the front reception remains manned 24/7.
