Introduction: The Wyndham Chelsea Harbour London hotel overlooks the marina in Chelsea Harbour, an exclusive section of the River Thames. Chelsea Harbour and marina is a semi-secluded complex just off of the New Kings Road a short distance (0.6 miles) from the King Road Chelsea, one of the most fashionable shopping and dining areas in London. This makes for a wonderful location in relative quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding areas. The harbour was constructed in the 1980's and although it does have small harbour, where the rich and famous anchor their yachts, its also home to residential luxury homes and apartments. The fitness club within the complex was well known for being used by the Late Diana, Princess of Wales. Also within the complex is the Chelsea Harbour Design centre with a constantly changing series of events. The area would be on the very edge of what would be considered Central London and is some 3.1 miles (5 km) from Piccadilly Circus. Just to the North at 0.3 miles is the Fulham Road which offers its own very varied shopping and amenities although not as upmarket as the Kings Road. Nearest places of interest include Carlyle's house (0.7 miles), Earls Court Exhibition centre (1.2 miles), National Army Museum (1.2 miles), Natural History and Science Museums (1.4 miles), Victoria and Albert Museum (1.4 miles), Fulham Palace (1.5 miles), Hyde Park (1.7 miles) and the Olympia Exhibition Centre (1.9 miles). The hotel is also used by guests wanting luxury accommodation with good access to the Wimbledon tennis championships which is just over 3 miles way on the south side of the River Thames.

The Wyndham is an all-suite hotel consisting of 160 suites, all with a two room configuration, made up of 6 Penthouse suites, 132 King bedded suites and 28 twin bedded suites. 4 non-smoking floors. The fabulous location by the waters edge and the semi secluded nature of the harbour make it easy to forget you are still in central London.

Dining Options:
Aquasia Restaurant: à la carte dining. Seats eighty guests in a contemporary in style with innovative use of natural daylight. Cuisine style is Mediterranean and Asian using fresh ingredients. Wonderful views over the marina. Al-fresco dining weather permitting in summer. Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday Brunch and tea in the afternoon. Sunday Brunch is notable for offering unlimited Theophile Roederer champagne up to and including the main course. Afternoon is very much in the traditional mould offering sandwiches, scones and pastries along with fine teas. Open 07.00 till 22.30.
Aquasia Terrace: Opens weather permitting offering fine views over the harbour owing to its raised location. Capacity of thirty five. The terrace is actually made up of a separate restaurant and bar and features a sun deck.
Aquasia Bar: The bar is the hub of the hotel and is a popular venue with local residents. A chic, contemporary, spacious and elegant in style with views over the marina. Full range of drinks including fine wines and seasonal cocktails. Serves a bar menu of light snacks between 10.30 till midnight. The bar shows its pedigree with a cigar menu aimed at the connoisseur. During the week the bar features live entertainment.
The hotel also provides private dining facilities on request.

The Wyndham Chelsea Harbour hotel has a fully equipped gym, as well as an Indoor heated 17m swimming pool with saunas, steam rooms and sunbeds. Massage and beauty room also available.

Comment:
£25 million pound refurbishment 2009/10 which included a brand new event space.
Became a 'Grand' member of the Wyndham brand in November 2007, this signifies is rated one of the top hotels in that portfolio.
In June 2007 they switched the hotel to the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts brand who took over management on 20 year contract via their subsidiary company Chelsea Harbour Management Inc.
Sold for £80 million pounds to Blue Harbour 2 Ltd in April 2007.
In November 2006 the hotel was sold for sixty three million pounds to Pat Doherty’s Harcourt Developments by Lloyds TSB.
