| Description:
The Marriott Kensington London is located on the main A4 dual carriageway (but
set back), the Cromwell Road, this is the main route into and out of London with a direct link
to the M4 motorway and Heathrow Airport. Its bust at all times and is almost opposite the private Cromwell Hospital. This location can be said
to be at the gateway into central London. Earls Court Exhibition centre is just half a mile to the west. Kensington High Street with a good mix of classic and
high brow shopping, bars and cafes is half a mile to the north. Also just to the
North is the well known shopping area of Knightsbridge where you will find the
Harrods department store. The swanky and chic shopping and amenities of South Kensington is 0.6 miles to the east and the
fashionable trend setting Kings Road, Chelsea is just under 1 mile to the south. The areas immediately either side of the this section of the Cromwell Road are
residential roads. Nearest cafes and shops are along Earls Court Road some 300 yards to the west and major supermarket stores are close by (Tesco's,
Sainsbury's). Nearest places of interest include
Linley Sambourne House (0.5 miles),
Hyde Park (0.5 miles),
Natural History Museum (0.5 miles), Commonwealth
Institute (0.6 miles),
Kensington Palace (0.6 miles) and the
