Located just off of Victoria Street in the
heart of London is the Sanctuary House Hotel. This area is known as St James's
and is perhaps best know for the park that borders it, St James's park, which is
part of the grounds to Buckingham Palace. Just to the south of the hotel is
Victoria Street which has a good range of shops and amenities including
restaurants and bars. There are also two famous theatres at the end of Victoria
Street, namely the Apollo Theatre and the Victoria Theatre. 1/3rd of a mile east
finds the River Thames that slices London into two, north and south. For the
best of the nightlife take the half a mile walk along Whitehall to Trafalgar
Square which marks the start of the west end and theatreland. Local attractions
are numerous, some of which include Westminster Abbey (0.13 miles), Houses of
Parliament (0.25 miles), St James's Park (0.3 miles), Westminster Cathedral (0.4
miles), Buckingham Palace (0.43 miles), London Aquarium (0.55 miles), London Eye
(Millennium Wheel) (0.67 miles), Cabinet War Rooms (0.28 miles) and Tate Britain
(0.64 miles). The Sanctuary House Hotel offers affordable accommodation minutes from some of London's best known attractions.
