Local Area: Probably the most notable aspect of the
Comfort Inn Hyde Park Hotels location with Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park
within 60 yards walk. A large open area that takes in landscaped themed gardens,
cafes, sports facilities, gallery and central lake with boat hire when the
weather is good enough. A couple of miles from the very heart of London but with
much to do nearby. The shopping area of Queensway is within 150 yards with lots
of shops and bars along with a skating rink and swimming pool. Its only half
mile to the chic shops of Notting Hill or just over 1 mile to Europe's busiest
shopping street, Oxford Street which starts from Marble Arch. There is a good
range of transport options with 6 tube stations within half a mile and no end of
buses and taxis on the adjacent Bayswater Road. Paddington Station which is one
f the major stations in London and where the
Heathrow Express terminates is within 10 minutes of the Comfort Inn Hotel.
Queensborough Terrace itself is a relatively quiet side street.

Run under the Comfort Inn branding which places
itself in the budget sector of the hotel market. The
Comfort Inn Hyde Park is a
tourist class hotel making for a good base to explore central London with
amenities close by.
The bedrooms are contemporary and offer modern amenities such as
air-conditioning, flat screen televisions and facilities to allow guests to make
their own tea and coffee. Each room is en-suite with a hairdryer supplied as
well as ironing facilities, telephone, desk and alarm clock.
Something that budget hotels often offer that you don't get at high end hotels
is complimentary internet access and the Comfort Inn offers guest free to use
wireless internet access in the bedrooms. The WiFi is also available in the
public areas.

Background: The hotel was previously

Park Lodge Hotel until March 2011. At this time the hotel was given a full
refurbishment.
Please note that this is
not the same hotel as the former Comfort Inn Hyde Park
which was located at
18-19 Craven Hill Gardens. That hotel ceased trading some time before thus
allowing this hotel take carry the same name, confusing as it may be to past
guests at that former hotel.
