Description: The Shaftesbury
Premier Notting Hill is actually located between Notting Hill and
Bayswater. The hotel is on Princes Square which is a relatively
quiet garden Square between busy surrounding districts. This area is
close to Paddington train station which gives access to the
Heathrow Express. A good location for access to areas such as
Hyde Park (400
yards), and shopping areas such as Queensway (400 yards), Notting
Hill (0.3 miles) and Kensington High Street (0.8 miles). Half a mile
to the west is Ladbroke where each summer one of Europe's largest
street carnivals take place, the
Notting
Hill Carnival. Even closer at 0.3 miles is Portobello Road
Market where on Sundays a popular antiques fair takes place with
many stalls also open during the week. Just over half mile to the
south in the south west corner of Kensington Gardens is
Kensington Palace which is the former home of the late Diana
Princess of Wales. This also marks the eastern end of
Kensington High Street which is a busy and popular upmarket
shopping are that also has some great cafes.

The Shaftesbury Premier Notting Hill Hotel is made up from three
Victorian houses and has its own private gardens. A modern and
contemporary hotel.
