Citadines Barbican London Apartment-Hotel is located in an area on the edge the
main financial district, the City of London, and around 1 mile from central
London and the main tourist areas. This particular part of London is Clerkenwell
but better known as Barbican thanks to the large
Barbican
Arts Complex just 0.3 miles from the hotel. Directly south of the hotel is
the historic St Pauls Cathedral (0.5 miles) while the Museum of London is even
closer at 0.3 miles. Local places of interest include Smithfield's Meat Market
(1/4 of a mile) which has been located here for over 800 years. While there are
shops and restaurants in the surrounding area this is really a business district
with many facilities shutting at night and weekends. You will have to take a
short taxi ride eats or west for a wider choice of venues and facilities. Public
transport links are excellent with a tube station less than 200 yards away and
many bus routes running along Goswell Road. Taxis are also plentiful in this
busy area (weekdays). The Citadines Barbican Apartments are equipped with all modern conveniences. This is an all suite property with 120 studio apartments and 9 spacious one bedroom apartments, and offers such hotel amenities as 24 hour reception, a restaurant (breakfast) and launderette. There are safety deposit box facilities at reception. Within the building is a WiFi internet zone along with a business corner.. All studios and flats have a bathroom with hairdryer and toiletries. They come with a fully-equipped kitchen area (stove, microwave/grill, fridge, dishwasher) which is separate in two-room flats, TV with satellite channels, direct-line phone with IDD and voicemail, hi-fi system, Steam iron & ironing board, safe, high speed internet access and individual safety deposit box. House linen provided (linen changed and house-cleaning once a week free of charge). Additional house-cleaning service on request and charged according to requirements. |
